Mink | AboutMink Boutique has been a dream of Carla Mink's for many, many years. Carla began managing her aunt's boutique-nut and candy shoppe when she was just 15. 18 years later, after several years of retail management, Carla finally decided it was time to venture out of her own... and Mink Boutique was actualized! Carla has always been inspired by the opulence of period books and films. Graduating with her major in English, she found herself especially attracted to such authors as E.M Forester, Edith Wharton and Henry James. When Carla saw the film Marie Antoinette while writing her business plan, the marriage of Sophia Coppola's lush film sets combined with a modern soundtrack, served as the ultimate inspiration for a ladies boutique!
